Rep. Stanley to Hold Community Meeting on Home Heating Shut-Offs

LANSING - State Representative Woodrow Stanley (Flint) will welcome community members at a meeting intended to update residents about the impact of home heating shut-offs on seniors and other vulnerable residents. This is an important issue given the unfortunate, all-too-frequent deaths of those who have had their home heating cut off during the winter months. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss resources for seniors and other vulnerable residents and disseminate information necessary for community preparedness. Rep. Stanley will be joined by representatives from relevant home heating companies and organizations.
