Rep. Stanley Holds Town Hall at Local Church

LANSING - State Representative Woodrow Stanley (Flint) welcomed community members at a town hall event intended to update residents about new and relevant topics from the Legislature. Highlighted topics included the following: the 48-month welfare cap and drug test requirements for welfare recipients; proposed changes to no-fault auto insurance; cuts to K-12 education, the implementation of the new pension tax; and emergency financial manager legislation. Rep. Stanley was also available for questions from constituents.
